ATLÂNTICA VERTICAL FARM - CURITIBA, BRAZIL

UP ABOVE1.jpg

The Atlântica Farm is a space of vertical agricultural production integrated with local commerce and service. It optimizes the use of energy resources and space through the use of high technology and revolutionary techniques and produces 100% organic food and at the same time saves water and energy. As the use of energy is essential for productive activities and for the final price of the product, the farm uses a closed energy cycle, reusing its own waste and local commerce and reverts it to energy for production.

This project has the potential to bring a new identity to the surrounding of Rebouças neighborhood, which has left its industrial vocation a long time ago. The idea of Vertical Farm meets the aspirations of the "Vale do Pinhão" Project, which aims to create an ecosystem of innovation in Curitiba. The integration of productive food spaces with local commerce in the heart of the city enables people to experiment with natural processes, promoting environmental education and optimizing the resources available in the city.
